The Lions Club of Heathcote was presented with its Charter on May 15, 1971 by Lions International President, Dr Bob McCullough of Canada.

Since then, the Lions Club of Heathcote have played a pivotal role in supporting individuals, local groups and organisations in Heathcote, and contributing to infrastructure projects in town.
